The K Unit started as a pet project with me coding the original blog in C#, migrated to DotNetNuke before finally settling with WordPress. After a decade of writing on that domain, I decided to start over again with a new blog and domain, firsttiger.com. The move makes sense to me as it’s the nickname I’ve used for over 2 decades and has special meaning to me.

Starting over again gives me an opportunity to do a few things right. This will give me an opportunity to organize it more meaningfully and fix a few issues that I never got around to on The K Unit. Here’s to new (blogging) beginnings…
